Terms of Service: Advanced Search for monday.com

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between Orbiscend sp. z o.o., Aleja Grunwaldzka 56 lok. 202, 80-241 Gdańsk, Poland ("Orbiscend", "we", "us"), and the organization that installs or uses Advanced Search for monday.com ("you").

monday.com asks the person installing the App to accept these Terms. By installing, accessing or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

If you install or use the App for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for it. "You" then means that organization.

The App is for business use, not for consumers.

2. Definitions

  • App: Advanced Search for monday.com. Services: the App and our support for it.
  • monday: the monday.com platform and the company that runs it. Account: the monday account where the App is installed. Users: people in your Account who use the App.
  • App Admin: the User who connects the App. The App reads boards with this person's permissions.
  • Customer Data: data the App reads from or stores for your Account, and content Users create in the App, such as saved queries and watchlists.
  • Index: the copy of items, subitems, column values, links and change history the App stores to search quickly. Setup: boards chosen for search, shared fields, saved queries and watchlists.

3. Description of Services

The App gives your Account one search page over the boards the App Admin chooses: filters, a query language, subitems, linked items and dependencies, change history, saved and shared queries, watchlists with digests, CSV export, and Ask AI (section 9).

  • The App runs on servers Orbiscend operates, not inside monday. The Index is stored there.
  • The App creates webhooks on indexed boards and sends watchlist subscribers monday notifications. It does not change your items, columns or boards.
  • The App is not a backup. Most of the Index can be rebuilt from monday; recorded change history cannot.

4. monday.com and Other Third Parties

  • monday is not a party to these Terms. It is not responsible for the App, its support, or its handling of Customer Data, and it does not endorse the App.
  • Your agreement with monday governs your use of monday, including your Account and its permissions.
  • monday may discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice. If that happens, we will tell you as soon as we can.
  • We use subprocessors to run the App, including Clever Cloud (hosting) and Anthropic (Ask AI). The Privacy Policy lists them.

5. Subscriptions, Trial and Fees

  • Billing through monday. You buy the App on the monday marketplace. monday collects payment, handles renewals and invoices, and collects taxes where it is registered. We do not bill you directly. Payment to monday for the App counts as payment to us.
  • Prices. The listing and monday's plan selection show prices, any free plan for small accounts, and the trial length. Every plan includes every feature. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to you.
  • Seats. The price follows your Account's seat count, as monday counts it. If your Account has more seats than your subscription covers, we may notify your admins. We do not currently limit the App for this.
  • Trial. Each Account can use the free trial once.
  • Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically through monday until canceled. Only your monday account admins can change or cancel a plan, in monday. Cancel before the renewal date to stop the next renewal; the App keeps working until that date. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.
  • Refunds. monday processes all refunds. If you cancel within 30 days of your initial purchase, monday refunds you in full automatically. Other refund requests go to monday, which refunds only with our approval; we decide them case by case.
  • Limits. Every plan allows up to 1,000 boards per Account, and 1,000 saved queries and 1,000 watchlists per person. A CSV export holds up to 2,000 rows. We will give notice before lowering a limit.

6. When a Subscription or Trial Ends

  • First 30 days: read-only. Search, CSV export and saved queries keep working. Nothing new is indexed, boards cannot be added or re-indexed, and watchlists do not run. If you choose a plan in this period, indexing catches up from where it stopped.
  • After 30 days, we delete the Index, including recorded change history and digests. We keep your Setup, so choosing a plan later re-indexes your boards from monday. Deleted history cannot be restored.
  • No plan. Once the trial is used, the App does not search until someone chooses a plan.
  • To delete everything, uninstall the App (section 16).

7. Access and Permissions

  • The App Admin chooses which boards are indexed, and only the App Admin can change that or edit shared fields. You are responsible for those choices, and for indexing only boards whose content you may store with a third-party service.
  • The Index is built with the App Admin's permissions, so it can hold items some Users cannot open. The App is designed to show each User only items monday lets that User open: for every search, export, shared query and digest, it checks with monday using that User's own session.
  • If the App Admin's monday user is deactivated, another member can reconnect the App and become App Admin. We then revoke the previous App Admin's access for the App.
  • You control access to your Account in monday, and you are responsible for your Users' use of the App.

8. Customer Data

  • Ownership. You own Customer Data.
  • License to us. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, index and process Customer Data only to provide, secure and support the Services, and as the law requires. We do not sell Customer Data, use it for advertising, or use it to train machine-learning models.
  • Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy at https://orbiscend.com/privacy/advanced-search explains what the App stores, where, who handles it, and for how long. It forms part of these Terms.
  • DPA. For personal data in Customer Data, we act as your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement (https://orbiscend.com/dpa) is available on request at privacy@orbiscend.com. Where it conflicts with these Terms on personal data, the DPA prevails.
  • Location and security. Customer Data is stored in the European Union, with Clever Cloud in Paris, France, and is encrypted in transit and at rest. monday access tokens are also encrypted by the App.
  • Your responsibilities. You must have the right to let the App process Customer Data, including any notices to or consents from people whose data is on your boards.
  • Deletion. When you uninstall the App, we delete Customer Data within 10 days, as the Privacy Policy describes. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups until they expire. We keep only records with no board content and no information about people, such as your Account id and a record that deletion took place.

9. Ask AI

  • What it does. Ask AI turns a question in plain words into a search query. The App shows the query, marks it as written by AI, and runs it with the asking User's own permissions.
  • Check the query. AI output can be wrong. A generated query may not mean what you asked. Read it before you rely on the results. You are responsible for decisions based on them.
  • What is sent. The App sends Anthropic, PBC (United States) the question as typed, the names and types of fields the User can search, the names of boards and workspaces the User can open, and status labels. It never sends item names, column values, update text, files, or people's names or ids. Do not type personal or confidential information into a question.
  • Storage and training. We do not store or log questions, and we do not use Customer Data to train AI models. Anthropic processes requests as our subprocessor. Its commercial terms say it may not train models on customer content.
  • Turning it off. An Account admin can turn Ask AI off for everyone in the Account in Settings › Ask AI. While it is off, nothing is sent to Anthropic for that Account.
  • Monthly allowance. Each Account has a monthly Ask AI allowance. When it is used up, Ask AI pauses until the next calendar month (UTC). The rest of the App keeps working.
  • Changes. We may change the AI model or provider, or turn Ask AI off. A new provider is added to the Privacy Policy before it receives Customer Data.

10. User Responsibilities

You agree, and will make sure your Users agree, not to:

  • use the Services in breach of the law or of monday's terms;
  • access data you are not allowed to access, or get around the App's permission checks, limits or Ask AI allowance;
  • probe or scan the Services for vulnerabilities without our written permission (report suspected vulnerabilities to security@orbiscend.com);
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where the law allows it;
  • send malicious code, overload the Services, or interfere with other customers;
  • resell the Services, or use them to build a competing product.

11. Support

We provide support by email at product@orbiscend.com. It covers setup, indexing, using the App, subscription questions about the App, and errors, but not monday itself. We aim to respond within two business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Polish public holidays), and we handle urgent issues, such as security problems or the App not working, promptly.

12. Availability and Changes to the App

We work to keep the App available, but we offer no uptime commitment beyond the support target in section 11. We may take the App offline for maintenance, and try to announce longer maintenance in the App. The App depends on monday: when monday is unavailable or changes, parts of the App may stop working, and results may lag behind monday. We may add, change or remove features, and will give prior notice, in the App or by email, of any change that materially affects your use of the App or its cost.

13. Contacting You

By installing the App, you agree that we may contact the person who installed it and the App Admin about the Services: service and security notices, billing and subscription matters, support follow-ups, and material changes to the App, these Terms or the Privacy Policy. We use contact details you give us, for example when you write to support, and notices in the App. We will not send marketing without consent where the law requires it, and you can opt out of non-essential messages.

14. Intellectual Property and Feedback

Orbiscend owns the Services, including all content, features and functionality. While your trial or subscription is active, and during the read-only period, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App within your Account for your internal business purposes. You may use queries the App writes for you, including Ask AI queries, freely. We may use any feedback you give us without obligation to you.

15. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential, use it only under these Terms, and protect it with reasonable care. Customer Data is your confidential information. This does not cover information that is public, already known, independently developed, or lawfully received from someone else. A party may disclose it when the law requires, after telling the other party where allowed.

16. Suspension and Termination

  • By you. You can stop at any time by uninstalling the App, which ends these Terms for your Account. Uninstalling does not cancel the subscription: cancel it in monday (section 5).
  • Suspension. We may suspend all or part of the Services, with notice where practical, if you materially breach these Terms, your use threatens the security or operation of the Services, or the law requires it. We restore access once the issue is resolved.
  • Termination by us. We may end these Terms if you do not fix a material breach within 30 days of notice, or at once if it cannot be fixed. We may stop offering the App with at least 90 days' notice, and will arrange through monday a refund of prepaid fees for the unused period.
  • Data. After uninstall or termination, we delete Customer Data within 10 days (section 8).
  • Survival. Sections 8, 14, 15 and 17 to 22 survive.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR COMPLETELY SECURE, THAT THE INDEX WILL ALWAYS MATCH MONDAY, OR THAT RESULTS, CHANGE HISTORY, DIGESTS OR ASK AI OUTPUT WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL OR DATA. EACH PARTY'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID FOR THE APP, THROUGH MONDAY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 100 IF THAT AMOUNT IS LOWER. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY WHERE THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW THEM, INCLUDING FOR INTENTIONAL BREACH.

19. Indemnity

  • By us. We will defend you against third-party claims that the App, as we provide it, infringes their intellectual property, and pay resulting damages or agreed settlements. This excludes claims caused by Customer Data. We may instead change the App, or end your subscription and refund prepaid fees for the unused period.
  • By you. You will defend us against third-party claims arising from Customer Data, or from use of the Services in breach of these Terms or the law, and pay resulting damages or agreed settlements.
  • The protected party must notify promptly, let the other party control the defense, and cooperate.

20. Export Controls and Sanctions

You confirm that you and your Users are not located in, or acting for, a country or person under sanctions that prohibit use of the Services, and you will not use them in breach of export control or sanctions laws.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting the new version on this page, with a new "Last updated" date and an effective date. For material changes, we will also tell the person who installed the App and the App Admin, by email or in the App, at least 30 days before the effective date, unless the law or monday requires a change sooner. If you keep using the App after the effective date, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree, uninstall the App before then.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

Polish law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The parties will first try to settle a dispute in good faith by email for 30 days. The common court competent for Orbiscend's registered office in Gdańsk, Poland, decides any dispute.

23. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and, where it applies, the DPA are the whole agreement about the Services. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or a successor after notifying you. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages at monday or our hosting providers. Notices to us go to legal@orbiscend.com; we send notices as in section 13.
